For the past thirty years, this desk has sat in the same spot at Hofer's Auto Repair, Inc. Today it sits in the southwest corner of our sunroom at home. I've supported my husband and his dream of owning a business for many years. Now that we're retired (kind of, sort of...Mike is going to work for someone else), this new location represents a new direction for me - writing full time. I have numerous directions I'd like to go but the most important direction is the one that God wants me to go. I want what He wants. It may take a while to figure it all out since I have lots of "irons" in the fire: children's fiction, devotions, three blogs, poetry, etc. The good news is He and I have plenty of time to figure it all out. Here's to the next thirty years.
